Can someone tell me about best/compatible texture formats when using acclerated OpenGL. Example. using V2200, TNT, VD2.
I mean i have tried TNT ,here at work, using 24bit textures and somehow simple texturemapping is plain slow!!! What the hell is wrong.. 1 triangle = 7fps...ugh.
And i have no clue how to use 16bit textures which i think may be best/fastest under hardware acceleration.
Examples are welcome..
